Middlebury Man Charged With Assault, Strangulation: Naugatuck Police
The accused was given a $5,000 bond.

NAUGATUCK, CT — A Middlebury man is accused of assaulting and strangling a woman in Naugatuck, police said. On Sept. 20 at 6:56 p.m. officers responded to Cross Street for a domestic disturbance between boyfriend and girlfriend, police said.
During an argument Justin Holt, 31, of Old Waterbury in Middlebury, is accused of hitting the victim and putting his hands around her neck, police said. He was given a court date of Sept. 21 and released on a $5,000 bond.
He is charged with second-degree strangulation, third-degree assault, interfering with an emergency call, and disorderly conduct.
