Middlebury Police Blotter: Cash Register Found, Girl Stuck in Handcuffs
Stolen cash register from Middlebury tanning salon was found.
A cash register stolen from a Middlebury tanning salon last week was found Friday May 13.
The cash registered was stolen in an overnight burglary which occurred between Sunday night and Monday morning at the Sunset Beach Tanning Salon located at 750 Straits Turnpike in Middlebury.
Perpetrator(s) smashed out the front window with a rock and stole a cash register. The cash register was found at a location on Straits Turnpike in Naugatuck.

Middlebury PD were dispatched to Bally’s Gym at 930 Straits Turnpike in Middlebury on Friday at approximately 8:13 p.m. to handle a former client of the gym that refused to provide identification and refused to leave the gym.

Middlebury Police received a call from Gail Bay, of 21 Winding Trail in Middlebury, Saturday reporting that her granddaughter tried on a pair of handcuffs she had found and could not get them off and had no key.
