Police received reports of a loaded .380 clip with bullets found at Quassy Amusement Park on Route 64, at 8:43 p.m. Sunday, August 7.

Alleged Theft

Officer Kathy Blick reported that money was allegedly stolen from a snack bar at 3 Sandy Beach Rd. on Sunday, August 7.

Wallet Found

A wallet was turned into the Police Department, after a woman reported running it over on Christian Road at 3:53 p.m. Monday, August 8.

 

Possible Snooping Person Afoot

A caller living on Lakeshore Drive reported a suspicious man snooping in their yard and the neighbor's yard, according to a 3:11 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, police report by Officer Fred Marcantonio.

 

Purse Found in Woods

A purse was found in the woods near Straits Turnpike, according to a 3:50 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, police report.

 

ATVS on Kelly Road Extension

Two calls came in, one at 4:49 p.m. and one at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, regarding ATVs on Kelly Road Extension. Police reported that the ATVs left the area upon their arrival after the first call. After the second call was made, police checked all possible areas and did not locate the ATV riders, according to the police report.

 

Gun Shots Reported

A complainant reported gunshots in the area of North Street at 10:09 p.m. Wednesday, August 10.

 

Stuffed Animal Story

Police received a call about a dead bobcat on Straits Turnpike at approximately 8:59 a.m. Thursday, August 11. Upon arrival by Officer Ed Demers, the caller had picked up the animal and was bringing it to a taxidermist, according to the report.
