Traffic Light Stays Red Too Long

On July 20, Alan Carbonneau of 1053 Christian Rd. requested the police check a traffic light at Foster Road and Route 64. He said the light stays red for too long.

Middlebury police notified the Connecticut Department of Transportation. Officer Al Cronin reported that the light length seems OK.

Reported Theft From Middlebury Home

On July 21, a Rose Court resident reported items stolen from her home. The complainant said her daughter stole items from her home and brought them to pawn shops in Waterbury.

Officer Ron Pruchnicki investigated.

Car Covered in Toilet Paper

At approximately 12:25 a.m. Saturday, July 21, Jeff Sullivan of 520 Watertown Rd. heard a noise outside his house.

When he looked outside, he said his daughter's car had toilet paper all over it and he saw a person run away, get into a car and leave.

No description of the person or car was given. Police said Sullivan requested a check of the area. No suspects or a vehicle were found, police reported.
