Middlebury Police Blotter: Keyed Cars, Abused Mailboxes and Threatening Youths
Ex-boyfriend keys car at Maggies and woman finds Mexican bean dinner in mailbox.

Karen Foytho, of 25 Lawrence Court in Middlebury, reported seeing a raccoon staggering around her yard on Friday at approximately 3:39 p.m. Animal control was contacted to capture the animal.

Christa Shay, of 1404 Middlebury Road in Middlebury, reported that six to seven males made threatening remarks to her daughter and her friend on Friday afternoon. Middlebury police found the individuals accused of making the threats on Rt. 64 near Longmeadow, the group was told to stop and was cleared by police.

Sandra Barolli, of 262 Burr Hall Road in Middlebury, told police that someone left a Mexican bean dinner in her mailbox on Saturday evening. Barolli requested an occasional patrol check from Middlebury PD at night. Police reports say neighborhood youths frequently have parties on the weekend.

Lana Porzio, of 635 Campfield Road in Waterbury, alerted Middlebury PD on Saturday that her car, a 2011 Honda Accord, had been scratched by an ex-boyfriend in the parking lot of Maggie McFly’s, 6 Woodside Avenue in Middlebury.
