Middlebury Police Blotter: Man Reports Neighbor Trying to Run Him Over

Paul Dente, of 35 Gleneagle Rd. in Middlebury, alerted the Middlebury Police Department the he felt he was targeted by a car earlier this week.

Dente said on Monday at approximately 9:08 p.m. near his residence on Gleneagle Road he witnessed a vehicle speeding and told the male driver to slow down. Instead of reducing speed, Dente reports the car attempted to run him over.

Dente said the driver of the vehicle lives nearby on either Porter Rd. or Steinmann Ave.

A street sign and a stop sign were taken out of the ground on South Street in Middlebury earlier this week. The signs were found in the middle of the road near 777 South Street.
