Middlebury Police Commission Appoints Acting Police Chief

Middlebury Police Lt. Richard Wildman has a new title: Acting Chief of Police.

The Middlebury Police Commission approved the appointment of Wildman at a Friday, Oct. 5, special meeting at the Middlebury Town Hall.

Wildman is serving as acting chief after .

"It's a good interim fill," said Commissioner Paul Bowler. "It's going to give us continuity for now."
