Burglary Reported in Middlebury: Police Issue Advice
Police ask anyone with information to call 203-577-4028.

On Monday, Oct. 24, a resident of Middlebury Road in the vicinity of Judd's Corner came home from work and discovered her front door was kicked in, according to a press release from Lt. Richard Wildman.
Once inside the residence, the perpetrator or perpetrators removed two jewelry boxes containing assorted jewelry. The burglary occurred between 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Lt. Wildman said this type of burglary is typical, where the perpetrator will knock on the front door and if someone answers, they will ask for directions or for someone who does not live there.

Anyone who may have seen anyone suspicious in the area of Judd's Corner or has information are asked to call the Middlebury Police Department at 203-577-4028. Officers Marcantonio and Kalvaitis are investigating.
