Middlebury Still In The Dark Over Storm Reimbursement Costs

Local officials know what it cost for the clean up but don't know if or when they'll receive federal reimbursement.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Middlebury officials are still awaiting word on whether the town will be awarded reimbursement from the federal government for the damage that occurred during May's severe storm, the Republican-American reports.

Officials estimate that clean up efforts cost around $100,000 and the town would be able to recoup 75 percent but it needs to be approved by the government.
