Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department Names New Chief
The new fire chief has nearly four decades of service to the Fire Department.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Brett Kales has been named the chief of the Middlebury Volunteer Fire Department, according to the Republican-American.
Kales, who has been a volunteer for nearly four decades, has been the deputy fire chief the past four years. The new deputy fire chief is Jim Grohs. Anthony Bruno served as chief the past four years.
