Missing Oxford Man Located in Danbury

The Connecticut State Police cancel a silver alert for an elderly man after he was located eight hours later.

 

The was cancelled following an eight hour search for an elderly man who was reported missing on the Independence Day holiday and located in Danbury.

The Connecticut Post reported that George J. Miller, 82, of , who reportedly is an Alzheimer’s patient and requires dialysis treatments, was located about eight hours after he disappeared while driving his car through Southbury. He was following his wife’s car headed toward Newtown at the time, the Post said.

On April 9, a silver alert was issued for a 16-year-old boy, who was found later that day.
