A Murder on Main Street to Support Community Enhancement
The Woodbury Junior Women's Club announces that it will host a 1920's-themed murder mystery dinner entitled "Crime and Pun-ishment."

Woodbury, CT - The Woodbury Junior Women’s Club announces that it will host a 1920’s-themed murder mystery dinner entitled “Crime and Pun-ishment” on February 25, 2017 from 6pm to 9pm at the Curtis House Restaurant in Woodbury.
Presented by The Murder Mystery Company, guests will have the opportunity to rub shoulders with gangsters, their molls, moguls, and flappers, and follow clues to help bring the ‘murderer’ to justice.
This will be the first year the Woodbury Juniors hosts an event such as this, and they hope it will become an annual show. “All proceeds will benefit the Woodbury Junior Women’s Club Community Enhancement Grant,” said Michelle Cook, president of the Woodbury Junior Women’s Club. “With funds from this grant, the club is able to help support projects within the community.”

The club was formed in 1968, and has donated thousands of dollars in financial and humanitarian aid to local, state, and national projects. In the past year, the Woodbury Juniors helped support renovations to the south end of the Hurd House damaged during Hurricane Sandy, finance updates to the Woodbury Public Library kitchen, and fund repairs to gravestones located in the Old North Cemetery.
