New Morning Market was voted Best Health Food Store in Connecticut by CT Magazine for the fifth year in a row and they wanted to celebrate! “Our customers have been our inspiration for over 45 years and we wanted to thank them,” said Kim Bouton, of the Marketing department.
Over 2,000 customers entered a raffle to win a $1000 gift card to the store. Owner, John Pittari, had fun selecting the lucky winner.
Instead of drawing a name out of a hat, they printed out a giant list of all the entries and (the blindfolded) Pittari threw a dart to decide the winner. The third time was the charm, as the first two darts flew over the list and hit the wall. In the end, longtime customer Jayne Baxter-Davis of Woodbury scored the $1000 gift card!
