New Principal Hired At Woodbury School

WOODBURY, CT — Region 14 schools have hired a new principal for Mitchell Elementary School, according to The Waterbury Republican-American. Andrew Komar, who previously served in the assistant principal role at Wethersfield High School for 11 years, will take the helm starting Aug. 12.

He replaces Jodie Roden, who announced in the spring that she would be leaving for a position at Seymour Middle School. Komar, 57, is a Burlington resident and longtime science educator.
