Nonnewaug Graduate Killed In Florida Crash

WOODBURY, CT — A 19-year-old Nonnewaug High School graduate was killed in a south Florida car crashSaturday. Dana McWilliams lost control of a Chevrolet Camaro, which struck several trees before coming to a stop.

McWilliams along with Christian Kennedy, 21, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Sun Sentinel. A third person was critically injured.

McWilliams moved to Florida to continue working for equestrian trainer Maarten Huygens. She studied horse management in high school.
