Nonnewaug High School To Honor Dan Logue's Legacy
The popular Woodbury farmer was killed in an accident last month.

WOODBURY, CT — Nonnewaug High School will honor the legacy of popular farmer, Dan Logue, 64, who was killed in an accident last month by naming a cornfield used by students in his memory, the Republican-American reports.
Logue looked after the land, which is located near the high school. A sign will be placed at the field and unveiled at a ceremony during the new school year. Since Logue's death, $21,000 has been collected for scholarships for young farmers, the Rep-Am reports.
Donations may be made to the Daniel Logue Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the AgriScience Program, Nonnewaug High School, 5 Minortown Rd., Woodbury, CT 06798. Checks should be made out to "Region 14" with "Daniel Logue" written in the memo space on the check, according to his obituary at Hickcox Funeral Home.
