Obituary: Alfred F. D'Alfonso Sr., 78, of Waterbury
Alfred F. D'Alfonso Sr. was employed at Eastern Color Printing Company for more than 40 years. His son, Edward William D'Alfonso, lives in Middlebury.

Alfred F. D’Alfonso Sr., 78, of Waterbury, died Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at Waterbury Hospital. He was the widower of Rosemary (Bordner) D’Alfonso.
D’Alfonso was born in Waterbury on October 8, 1933, son of the late Alfred and Nancy (Paris) D’Alfonso. He was employed at Eastern Color Printing Company for more than 40 years. He also worked in cleaning services for various companies for 17 years. He was a graduate of Leavenworth High and a communicant of Our Lady of Loreto Church.
D’Alfonso leaves two sons, Alfred F. D’Alfonso Jr. and his wife Angela of Kissimmee, Fla.; Edward William D’Alfonso of Middlebury; a daughter, Roseann D’Alfonso and her wife Nancy D’Alfonso of Waterbury; and a granddaughter, Andrea D’Alfonso.

Funeral: 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home to Our Lady of Loreto Church for a 9 a.m. mass.
