Obituary: Evelyn Lynn, 78, of Bethlehem

Evelyn J. Lynn, 78, of Carmel Hill Road South in Bethlehem, died Wednesday February 22, 2012, at home, with her family by her side, and under the compassionate care of her sisters-in-law, Joanie (Lynn) Blum and Peggy Lynn.

She was the wife of F. Donald Lynn.

Lynn was born October 6, 1933, in New Milford, daughter of the late O. Karl and Edith (Johnson) Johnsen.

Besides her husband of 58 years, she is survived by her son Dennis and his wife Kim of Goshen, her granddaughter Susanne (Sue) Lynn of Goshen, her sister Eleanor Smith and her husband John of Morris, a brother David Johnsen and his wife Beth of Oxford, sisters-in-law Barbara (Lynn) Blum and Janice (Lynn) Frenger, several cousins, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Norman E. Lynn.

Visitation: The family will receive visitors at the Lynn residence on Carmel Hill Road South in Bethlehem between 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday, March 4.

Services: As were Lynn's wishes, graveside services will take place in Bethlehem Cemetery in the spring.
