Obituary: Francis “Frank” W. Luskay, 91, of Middlebury

. He graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1944. Frank served in the US Army 1945 - 1946.

Mr. Francis “Frank” W. Luskay, 91, of Middlebury passed away on February 7, 2019. He was the husband of Jennie (Manzik) Luskay.

Frank was born in Waterbury, CT in 1927, son of the late Frank and Alma (Simons) Luskay. He graduated from Naugatuck High School in 1944. Frank served in the US Army 1945 - 1946. Upon completing his four year apprenticeship in eyelet toolmaking at Scovil Manufacturing Company, Frank had the good fortune to begin his 38 year toolmaking career in 1951 at the Cly-Del Manufacturing Company in Waterbury, retiring in 1989.

He enjoyed his retirement along with his wife Jennie by traveling throughout the US, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and getting together regularly with his brother and sister-in laws.

Besides his wife of 62 years, Frank is survived by his sons James and his wife Maria (Trimarco) Luskay of Holliston, MA, Larry Luskay of Beaverton, Oregon; grandchildren Jameson and Gillian Luskay of Holliston, MA.

Frank’s family would like to acknowledge and thank the all of the staff at Always Best Care of Western Connecticut, Middlebury Convalescent Home and Woodbury Drug for their excellent care and support.

Arrangements – A funeral service will be held on Tuesday February 12, 2019 at 11 am at the Alderson-Ford Funeral Home of Naugatuck, 201 Meadow St. A graveside service will be held in Middlebury Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Tuesday morning from 9 am until the start of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
