Obituary: John L. Mahon, 95, of Woodbury
He returned to Passaic, NJ to start his career as an Industrial Engineer for the US Rubber Company, now Uniroyal, where he worked.

John L. Mahon, age 95, of Woodbury, CT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 25th. John served in the Army Airforce in the Pacific Theater, a WW II veteran. He returned to Passaic, NJ to start his career as an Industrial Engineer for the US Rubber Company, now Uniroyal, where he worked for 35 years.
He was predeceased by his wife of 74 years, Margaret Watson Mahon and his first grandchild, William “Willie” Mahon.

John is survived by his eleven children, John, Kristin, William, Margaret, Robert, Patricia, Kathleen, James, Peter, Elizabeth and Barbara and by his eleven grandchildren.
Most notable he was a friend, confidant, counselor, mentor and all-around life coach to a large, radiating community of people. His door was always open, the food and drink always shared. He will be greatly missed.
