Obituary: Woodbury Resident Joyce A. Sanderson, Charcoal Chef Employee

Joyce A. Sanderson, 57 of Woodbury, died Tuesday, December 27, at Waterbury Hospital.

Sanderson was born June 19, 1954, in Waterbury, daughter of the late Robert and Alvina (Plungis) Sanderson. She has resided in the same house in Woodbury her whole life.

Sanderson worked at , the family business in Woodbury, as a bookkeeper. She was an avid lover of animals and an advocate for animal welfare.

She is survived by her sister, Judy Doran of Roxbury.

Visitation: There are no calling hours.

Services: Memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Woodbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 2 School St.
