Obituary: Kyle William Hobbs, 26

Kyle William Hobbs, 26, passed away at his home in Bridgewater, CT, Sunday, December 31. Kyle was the cherished son of Kevin and Monsie Hobbs. Born April, 10, 1991, Kyle attended Burnham Elementary and Shepaug schools, and is a remembered student and neighbor in the community. He was a committed track and field athlete, having achieved a men’s relay record at Shepaug High School.

Kyle had a strong passion for hockey, and enjoyed many seasons as perennial MVP at his family’s backyard skating rink. He was known as a skilled, yet generous player. Kyle had a great eye for capturing images and worked as a videographer, and drone pilot.

Kyle had a great sense of humor and will be remembered by many for his personable nature. Kyle loved animals and animals loved him. He will be deeply missed by his parents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, each who knew him in their own way.

A service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 12:00 at The Bridgewater Congregational Church, 10 Clapboard Road, Bridgewater, CT.
