Obituary: Loretta Boucher, 80, Former Timex Employee
Boucher worked for several years at Holgrath and Timex Corp., before retiring from Phillips/Airpax Corp.

Loretta (Levesque) Boucher, 80, of 12 Wolf Hill Rd., Wolcott, died Friday, December 16, 2011, at home and surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Ovide "Butch" Boucher.
Boucher was born in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada on February 12, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Steven and Florida (Berube) Levesque.
Boucher was raised in Caribou, Maine, where she lived until she married and moved to Waterbury in 1953.

She and her husband lived on Mt. Carmel Avenue in Town Plot for several years before moving to Wolcott. She worked for several years at Holgrath and ., before retiring from Phillips/Airpax Corp.
Boucher is survived by one daughter and son-in-law: Judie Smart and Michael Smart of Burlington, CT; three grandchildren: Ryan Smart of Burlington, Troy Smart and his wife, Megan, of Torrington, and Lauren (Smart) Luhman and her husband Ronn, of Burlington; seven great-grandchildren: Trent Blaszko of Glastonbury; Taylor and Gavin Smart of Burlington; Alyssa, Thomas and Jackson Smart of Torrington; and Christian Luhman of Burlington.
Boucher also leaves a younger brother and sister–in-law, Maurice Levesque and Joan (Larson) of Caribou Maine.

She also leaves a dear and special best friend, Beverly Hurbon of Wolcott.
Additionally, Boucher leaves three adopted granddaughters: Jody Call, Jeanine Boukus and Kathy Mickel, all of Connecticut, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her husband, Ovide, she was predeceased by her first born grandson, Craig Smart, and her four sisters, Isabelle Cyr, Germaine Levine, Martha Morin, Anita Dionne, and her identical twin sister Lorraine McCrossin.
Funeral Services: Took place Tuesday, Dec. 20, at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
Burial: All Saints Cemetery.
