Obituary: Mildred T. Ottowell, 69, of Woodbury

Mildred T. (Mintell) Ottowell, 69, of Woodbury, died Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the . She was the husband of Benjamin Ottowell.

Ottowell was born November 16, 1942, in Bridgeport, daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Clark) Mintell. She resided in Woodbury since 2003, previously living in Bridgeport.

Ottowell worked at the Warner Co., Bridgeport, Companion and Homemakers for a couple of years. She retired as a paraprofessional after 17 years of service with the Bridgeport Board of Education. She enjoyed fishing and was a communicant of .

Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Daniel Mingay and his wife Natalina of Shelton; and Michael Faria of Sanford, Fla.; two brothers, William Mintell of Milford and Thomas Mintell of Cornwall Bridge; three grandchildren, Daniel Mingay, Jr. and Alyssa Mingay, both of Shelton, and Michael Faria of Sanford, Fla.; and Wayne Tate of Watertown, a close friend to Mildred and Benjamin.
