MIDDLEBURY- Monica Wanda (Zielski) Lucas, 94, of Middlebury, died peacefully January 10th,2018 at Waterbury Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was the widow of Thomas M.Lucas. Monica was born in Terryville, Ct. August 19th, 1923, daughter of the late Anthony andKatherine (Krol) Zielski.

She was retired from Naugatuck Valley Community College where she worked in the business office. She was a parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Church. She leaves her son and daughter in law Kenneth and Barbara Lucas of Yarmouth Port Ma.; sonEdward Lucas of Middlebury, Ct.; grandsons Graham Lucas of Cape Cod Ma. and Jeffrey Lucasof Southington,Ct.; nephews and their wives Joseph and Judy Morelli of Wolcott,Ct. andRaymond and Mary Jane Morelli of Waterbury, Ct..
