Obituary: Richard L. Rooney, 81, of Woodbury

Richard L. Rooney of Woodbury, 81, died Tuesday, May 1, 2012, after a long illness.

Rooney was born on July 31, 1930. He was residing at Masonicare of Newtown. He was a Woodbury constable, Woodbury fire marshal, deputy fire chief and member of the Woodbury Lions Club.

Rooney leaves behind his wife Ruth of 40 years, five children, 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
