Obituary: ​Sandra Claire Gleason, 51

Sandra Claire Gleason, 51, of Magnolia Hill Road, died peacefully on December 28, 2017 at Regional Hospice of Danbury.

Sandy was born April 23, 1966 in Waterbury daughter of the late Edward Lee White Sr. and Esther (Nimchick) White. Sandy is also predeceased by her step mother, Marilyn Fortier White, who raised her.
Sandy is the beloved wife of Robert Gleason, whom she married in 1995.

Sandy had worked at the Southbury Training school for 16 years, and most recently had been the proprietor of Innerpeace Massage and Reflexology in Woodbury for over 20 years. Sandy will be remembered for her sense of humor and contagious laugh.

Besides her husband Bob, she is survived by her brother Dennis White of Florida, her sister Cherlyn Douthwright of Naugatuck, her dog Puddin, and many nieces and nephews. Sandy was also predeceased by her brother Edward White, Jr.

A memorial mass will be held at St Teresa Church, Main Street Woodbury on Saturday January 6, 2018 at 11 am. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions should be made to Little Guild of St Francis, 285 Sharon Goshen Turnpike, West Cornwall, CT 06796
