One Person Hospitalized Following Accident on Route 6 in Woodbury
Traffic was being diverted around a two-car accident this morning, but the road is now open.
Folks traveling along Route 6 in Woodbury this morning may have encountered a detour due to a two-car accident.
Emergency personnel have now cleared the scene and Route 6 is open to traffic, according to Woodbury Fire Chief Janet Morgan.
One person was transported to an area hospital as a result of injuries sustained in the accident, Morgan said. Further information on the victim's status was not immediately available.

The detour, which has since been shut down, was taking folks off Route 6 in the area of Mill House Antiques, across the one-lane bridge to Middle Quarter Turnpike.
