A second suspicious vehicle, parked at a nearby medical building, has also been reported to police.

As state and local authorities continue to investigate an armed robbery that occurred Sunday, June 3, at the Kiran Mart in Southbury, they are asking for assistance from a witness they believe was in the store at the time of the incident.

The owner of the Kiran Mart and a witness, both who were reportedly confronted at gunpoint by the armed man, have provided police with details. They are now hoping another witness that was inside the store will come forward.

A different suspicious vehicle was reported shortly after the robbery. The vehicle was described as an older model Dodge Durango with a rounded front end traveling at a high rate of speed on Diamond Match Rd. towards Route 188.
