Police Chief Says Late Night Stabbing A Self-Inflicted Wound

A self-inflicted stabbing took place at a small group home on Southford Road late last night, Monday, March 12, Chief Richard Guisti told Patch on Tuesday, March 13.

Initially, the call came through the police scanners as a shooting, said Guisti, but was ultimately not the case. He said the incident took place at a small group home that has approximately three residents and in medical calls of this nature, the names of people involved are typically not released.
