Police Investigating Nuisances with Cars at Nonnewaug High School

Two cases of cars being tampered with were reported to police.

Police are investigating criminal mischief complaints at Nonnewaug High School, the Republican-American reports.

On Sept.19, a student complained to the school resource officer that someone had loosened the lug nuts on his car. A few days later, on Sept. 23, a teacher complained that someone had keyed her car leaving a scratch, the paper reports.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Resident State Trooper’s Office at 203-263-3400. All calls will be confidential.
