A student broke a thermometer in a classroom.
A hazmat situation has been reported at Pomperaug High School, WFSB 3 reports.
Students at the high school were evacuated for about 30 minutes after a thermometer dropped inside a classroom.
One student was taken to a local hospital as a precaution, WFSB 3 reports.
