Pomperaug Regional School District 15 Names Volunteers of the Year

Twelve volunteers were recognized at the Region 15 Board of Education Meeting on Monday, April 25 for their volunteer service to the Region 15 schools.
Each year, the school principals and staff honor and recognize Volunteers of the Year. Region 15 is proud to announce 12 volunteers who have selflessly given their time and talents for the children and families in the Region 15 school district.

The volunteers are Danielle Slawitschek, Megan Anderson, and Kellie Sood from Pomperaug Elementary School; Amy Raefski and Catherine Styblo from Middlebury Elementary School; Jessica Bisceglia and Alison Sokol from Gainfield Elementary School; Amy Parrott from Long Meadow Elementary School; Lois Yager from Memorial Middle School; Karen Opalka and Jeanne-Marie Hudson from Rochambeau Middle School; and Amy DeWitt from Pomperaug High School.
Parent Teacher Organizations at each school in Region 15 make a significant difference in the school culture and the academic and social success of children. Region 15 thanks all members of the community for their selfless volunteerism and varied contributions to the schools.

Volunteers from across the district will be recognized at the Region 15 PTO Dinner on Thursday, May 12th at Eight Mile Brook, Heritage Hotel, Southbury, CT.
