Portraits by ShawnaLee at Catherine's Butterfly Party!
ShawnaLee W. Kwashnak will demonstrate pet portraiture as well as offer artist tips to young artists during Catherine's Butterfly Party!
Portraits by ShawnaLee has been invited to participate in the 4th annual "Catherine's Butterfly Party" hosted by the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary in Newtown Ct.
Catherine's Butterfly Party will be Saturday, June 9th 2018 from 12-4pm at the Fairfield Hills
Campus in Newtown CT and will benefit the Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary.
The event is FREE for your family in honor of Catherine's Birthday! There will be animals to adopt, games, crafts, face-painting, hand selected vendors, such as: Portraits by ShawnaLee, who will be offering:Pet Portrait demonstrations, free butterfly pages to color, art lesson tips, and free photography towards your pets portrait during the event!
ShawnaLee is a portrait artist specializing in pet and child portraiture, a member of the Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists, SCAN and Richter Association and is a DAWS Partner and supporter of Whiskers Pet Rescue.
Her sensitive nature goes hand in hand with her heartwarming portraits of children and pets. This is ShawnaLee's third year at the Butterfly Party.
Catherine's Butterfly Party is a free community event, raising awareness of the Catherine Violet Hubbard
Animal Sanctuary. It is a fun family festival with a dog, cat and bunny adoption event.
The Catherine Violet Hubbard Animal Sanctuary™ was born from Catherine’s inherent love of all animals - a passion that grew, as she did, into the beautiful girl whose memory we now honor. Catherine’s life was taken at the age of six at Sandy Hook Elementary but her legacy of kindness will live on, improving the lives of countless abused, abandoned and neglected animals.
Every year for her birthday, Catherine would ask her parents for an “All the Animals animal party.”
Catherine’s Butterfly Party, hosted annually on or around Catherine’s birthday is Matt and Jenny’s answer to Catherine’s birthday wish.
