ShawnaLee Kwashnak, a Portrait artist, has been invited back for a second year to provide a

"The fifth annual Night of Caring, to benefit Hidden Acres Therapeutic Riding
Center, takes place Saturday, September 17th from 6:30-9pm at The Palace
Theater in Waterbury. A wonderful evening filled with fun, live and
silent auctions, and great food all in support of a wonderful cause. Some of this year’s auction highlights
include – original artwork and a vacation getaway in Maine.
Founded in 2008, Hidden Acres is dedicated to providing equine-assisted
activities for mind, body and spirit wellness for children and adults
with physical, developmental and emotional needs. Funds raised from the
event will help defray the costs of providing services and care of
therapy horses. Year-round services at the farm include therapeutic
riding and a variety of equine experiential learning programs for
relational and life-skills development.
This year’s Diamond level event sponsors include The Petit Foundation and Lock, Stock & Barrel of Bethany.
