Community Theatre at Woodbury, Inc. kicks off its first production of 2020, with RUMORS on January 10th 2020! We are pleased to introduce our guest director, Ed Bassett, Managing Director of Phoenix Stage Company, Oakville, CT to our CTAW production.

At a large, tastefully-appointed Sneden's Landing townhouse, the Deputy Mayor of New York has just shot himself. Though only a flesh wound, four couples are about to experience a severe attack of Farce. Gathering for their tenth wedding anniversary, the host lies bleeding in the other room, and his wife is nowhere in sight. His lawyer, Ken, and wife, Chris, must get "the story" straight before the other guests arrive. As the confusions and mis-communications mount, the evening spins off into classic farcical hilarity.

Refreshments are available before the performances and during intermissions. A drawing
will be held throughout the run of the show; the proceeds to benefit the Woodbury Food Bank. The lucky person need not be present when the winning ticket is drawn during intermission on Sunday, January 19th.
