Proposed Woodbury Sober House Faces Obstacles: Report
Concerns have been raised about the facility by members of the town's Planning Commission.

WOODBURY, CT — A proposed sober house at the Curtis House on Main Street in Woodbury has been met with concerns by members of the town's Planning Commission, reports the Waterbury Republican-American.
Commissioners were skeptical whether the planned facility fits in with the area's historic district, as outlined in the town's Plan of Conservation and Development.
Additionally, commissioners also voiced concerns over plans that sober house clients would not be permitted to leave the grounds for the first three to four months, and that the facility would bring in meals daily instead of prepare them on-site, according to the publication.
