The 2,300 year-old royal Jewish heroes come to life in this year's new jam-packed mega site www.chabadNW.org/purim unveiled at the Chabad of Northwest CT for the upcoming Jewish holiday of Purim, taking place March 9 to 10, 2020.
Attendants of all ages will enjoy everything from games, to recipes, to prayers, to stories on A Virtual Purim, the world's most comprehensive Purim Web site. The site gives detailed instructions on how to celebrate, give, say, pray, listen, learn and eat on the holiday, plus actual meal menu suggestions, entertainment and games.
Contestants across the globe will compete for prizes in an on-line Costume Contest and students young and old will try their hand at games ranging from "Hang the Haman" to a word search, shuffle, concentration and more. Rhyming characters will recount the Purim for kids.

The recipe section features hamantashen, kreplach, challah, fish, chicken soup, pickled tongue, casseroles, pesce al cartoccio, and more Purim dishes.
In the audio section one can choose from a full selection of holiday songs, the entire Purim story recounted by real radio actors, and a taste of the real Megillah reading as its done from the parchment scroll. Also, a story section, Ask-the-Rabbi feature and the full biblical account of the holiday (along with commentaries).
