Puttin’ on the Roof for the Glebe House

Fundraiser to Benefit Preservation of the Glebe House Museum April 27

Head down to the speakeasy at the 1754 House Tavern for an evening in support of the Glebe House Museum’s ninety-nine years of preservation. This fun-filled event is taking place on Saturday, April 27 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Tavern at the 1754 House Inn and Restaurant in Woodbury. Tickets are on sale now online@ http://www.glebehouse.org. For additional information call 203-263-2855.

We’ll be “Puttin’ on the Roof!” Literally! The Glebe House (c1750) needs a new roof and an anonymous donor has offered to match funds up to 35,000 dollars for these preservation efforts. Join us and help raise the roof by matching funds to preserve this historic icon.

The 1754 House Inn & Restaurant will be our sponsor & host for an evening that includes: hors d'oeuvres, tickets for 3 sample-sized cocktails (Cocktail Contest), non-alcoholic beverages and music by the Dirty Martinis. Cash bar available.
