Quassy Announces 2019 Special Events
There are dozens of special events planned. Read about them all here.
WOODBURY-MIDDLEBURY, CT - From Quassy Amusement Park: Quassy Amusement & Waterpark here has announced a number of special events for the 2019 season.
Among them will be the return of 3-D fireworks on July 4 and three Quassy After Dark Beach Parties featuring live music.

April 27 & 28 - $45 Carload weekend as Quassy opens for its 111th season of operation. Up to 10
persons in one car receive an all-day ride wristband for only $45, parking included. Rides operate 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Annual Egg Hunt for prizes, 3 p.m., Sunday, April 28. Event supports Campership Fund.
April 27 - Classic car show presented by Connecticut Military Corvette Club 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

May 4 & 5 - $45 Carload weekend. Up to 10 persons in one car receive an all-day ride wristband for
only $45, parking included. Rides operate 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
May 4 - Festival of the Arts with student artwork on display, school music at the Carousel Theatre stage.
May 5 - Dance Day at the Carousel Theatre stage with local and area dance schools and studios
performing. Start time 11 a.m.
May 11 - Heroes' Day honoring active and retired first responders and military personnel. Free all-day ride pass for heroes and one additional family member. Discount pre-sale ride passes $13.99 for family and friends using promo code Heroes19 at www.quassy.com .

May 12 - Mother's Day Special: When a child purchases an all-day ride wristband, mom receives a
wristband and dinner voucher for free. Note: only mom may redeem the free wristband and dinner
voucher. Valid May 12, 2019, only.
May 19 - Preschoolers' Day. Special day for preschoolers in which those 5 years of age and younger will receive a free all-day ride wristband when an adult family member purchases a wristband.
May 19 - Scout Day: A day celebrating Girl & Boy Scouts. Call for details: 203-758-2913.
May 19 - Martial Arts Day at the Carousel Theatre stage. Local and area martial arts/karate schools will perform.
June 8 - 15th Annual School Music Festival. Elementary, middle and high school bands, choruses and orchestras will perform at the Carousel Theatre starting at 11 a.m.
June 8 - Coasting for Kids in support of Give Kids The World. Pre-registration required at

June 14 - Wings & Things with buffet dinner featuring three kinds of chicken wings and other great summer fare. Evening ride and waterpark wristband included. Use promo code Wings1 at

June 22 - Annual Dance Day at the Carousel Theatre with local and area dance schools and studios
starting at 11 a.m.
June 29 - Quassy After Dark Beach Party. Live music with Nashville Drive, fire pits, major waterslides, bag toss games, craft beer, cocktails, food. 7:30 p.m. with admission $5. July & August - Comedy magic of Jim & Sandy Sisti at the Carousel Theatre stage. Note: no shows on Monday and other days the stage is scheduled for special events. Times vary, so call the park office for shows on the date you plan to attend.
July 4 - 3-D Fireworks spectacular over Lake Quassapaug. Special viewing glasses will be sold to
benefit Make-A-Wish Connecticut. 10:15 p.m. fireworks.
July 4 - Special Blast At The Beach party 8 to 11:30 p.m. $10 admission with kids under 45 inches free, but must be accompanied by an adult. Aug. 31 & Sept. 1 - 23nd Annual Constitution State Feis (Irish Dance Competition) with hundreds of dancers from throughout New England competing. Carousel Theatre and Trolley Stop Pavilion stages. Presented by the Horgan Academy of Irish Dance.
Sept. 2 - Carload Labor Day. Say goodbye to summer with a special $50 carload Labor Day (up to 10
persons in one car) at Quassy. Support the Campership Fund as a portion of the day's proceeds helps to send kids to camp! Note: Park hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Labor Day.
Sept. 28 & 29 - OKTOBERFEST in the Fieldside Pavilion with live music, great food and seasonal
beer. 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Note: schedule subject to change without notice.
