Quassy Requests Tax Incentives For New Project
The amusement park wants a four-year tax abatement.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Quassy Amusement Park is requesting tax incentives to build a new multi-million dollar water slide project.
Voters will decide on the tax incentives under which Quassy would get a tax abatement of 35 percent that would decline each year for four years, according to NBC Connecticut.
Proponents of the plan argue that it will eventually bring in more tax revenue for the town.
