Reduced Adoption Fees This Weekend at Middlebury Animal Shelter

The Brass City Rescue Alliance animal shelter is at capacity.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — If you're thinking about adopting a rescue dog, tomorrow, Jan. 28, is the day to do it, because the Brass City Rescue Alliance in Middlebury is reducing its adoption fees to help clear out it backlog of adorable pets.

"We have all large dogs and no interest," writes the animal shelter in the below Facebook post. "Unfortunately, most of them need to be the only pet in the household. We cannot provide for our dogs without adoption fees. In an effort to find our dogs homes, we are reducing the adoption fee to $200 for a ALL LARGE DOGS SATURDAY 1/28 ONLY."
