Region 15 Schools Closed Tuesday and Wednesday, Nov. 1-2
The schools are closed due to the rare October snowstorm.
Region 15 schools are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 1 and 2.
School officials will make a decision on whether schools will be open or closed on Thursday, November 3, at a later time.
Region 15 staff remind residents that Pomperaug High School, 234 Judd Rd., Southbury, is available as a 24/7 shelter. No pets are allowed. Showers are available.

Residents are asked to bring bottled water and snacks, as MREs, or meals-ready-to-eat, are not available at the high school at this time.
