Region 15 Schools Host Critical Thinking Workshops

Region 15's 21st century skills include collaboration, critical thinking, communication and innovation/creativity.

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Region 15 schools (Middlebury and Southbury) will host a "Critical Thinking & 21st Century Skills" presentation on Thursday, March 2, at Pomperaug High School, officials announced.

The purpose of the workshops is to share some examples of our students’ 21st-century skills and to demonstrate how those skills, specifically critical thinking, are integrated in the Region 15 curriculum, according to the district's release.

Region 15’s 21st century skills are collaboration, critical thinking, communication, innovation/creativity, character, and global citizenship.

The event, which is open to parents, students and the public, is scheduled for 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the high school's All Purpose Room.
