Scenic 5K Trail Run at Flanders Features Post-Race Food Truck Celebration

This is More than Just Your Average Trail Run!!

Enjoy a scenic 5K trail run or walk through the picturesque nature sanctuary, Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust in Woodbury, CT and a post-race celebration with local food trucks.

The Big Green Pizza Truck, the Fryborg Truck, Ice Cream Truck, beer and live entertainment with the rock band, Root Six.

Registration fee includes run or walk, two food truck items and, for those over 21, a complimentary craft beer. Additional food and drinks can be purchased at the celebration.

The first 200 registrants will receive a performance race t-shirt.

Awards will be given to all top male and female finishers overall and in 8 age categories ranging from under 10 years of age to over 60.

Age groups – all male and female – Under 10, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 +

All proceeds from the Field & Forest 5k benefit Flanders Nature Center & Land Trust.

The race will begins promptly at 6 p.m. Race packets can be picked up at the Flanders Nature Center office on Thursday, June 11, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or on Friday, June 12, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This event is rain or shine; however, Flanders reserves the right to cancel in the case of lightening.
