Settlement Reportedly Reached Between CT Family of Child Left on School Bus and the Bus Co.

The child, who was 7 at the time, was left behind in March 2015 on a bus owned by All-Star Transportation.

MORRIS, CT — The family of a then seven-year-old child who was left behind on a school bus in Morris reached an $85,000 settlement with the bus company, All-Star Transportation, reports The Register Citizen.

The James Morris School student's family settled with the company on the payment for trauma without filing a lawsuit, according to the family's attorney, Christopher Sochacki.

The Waterbury Republican-American writes that the bus driver, who was fired by the company, parked at the bus depot in March 2015, and left the property without realizing that the child was still on-board.
