This Spring season let go of food cravings and unhealthy foods and replace them with whole foods. Sign up for the next detox program to a healthier you at Naugatuck Valley Women’s Health Specialists.
The program is for women and men and will be led by Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) Peggy Krotzer. Past detox participants have experienced improved energy levels, clarity and focus, joint comfort, restful sleep, skin appearance, weight loss and more.
The kick-off informational meeting in the Middlebury office is scheduled for Monday, April 23, from 7 to 8 p.m. There is no charge to attend this meeting to learn about the benefits and the “how to” of detoxing. Those who know they want to participate in the 10-day program should order a detox kit by April 11 for pickup at the April 23 meeting by calling Diane at NVWHS at 203-575-1811, ext. 124. The cost for the program is $145, which includes meal replacement protein shakes, easy to follow directions, a probiotic for healthy gastrointestinal function, guidance from Peggy and more.
As the nutritionist for the OB/GYN group, Peggy helps patients take control of their lives through education and compassionate support, whether the focus is weight loss, fighting a chronic disease or dealing with food restrictions.

“Good nutrition, exercise, and restful sleep are the foundation for good health,” said Peggy, who also guides patients toward reversing chronic disease through diet and lifestyle modifications. She is trained to assist patients with diabetes, osteoporosis, metabolic syndrome, high cholesterol, high triglycerides and hypertension, among others.
