State Police Make DUI Arrest in Middlebury
Meriden women was arrested for DUI on I-84 west near exit 16.

State police arrested a Meriden woman in Middlebury for driving under the influence of alcohol early Saturday.
Nicole L. Reymond, 21, of 16 Rolling Hills Dr. in Meriden was observed traveling on I-84 West near exit 16 while swerving from the right lane into the left lane three times within a ¼ mile distance and accelerating suddenly, swerving into the right shoulder, according to police.
The vehicle was stopped in Middlebury, just before exit 16 and the Southbury town line. Upon approaching the car, arresting officer State Police Trooper Rafael Figueiral reported smelling a strong odor of alcohol emanating from Reymond’s breath.
Reymond was administered a field sobriety test to which she did not perform to standard and was place under arrest and charged with Failure to Maintain Established lane (14-236) and Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (14-277a)
Reymond was released on $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court May 9.
