State Police Make DUI Arrest in Middlebury
Waterbury women charged with DUI after fellow driver alerted police of erratic driving.

A Waterbury women was arrested by State Police in Middlebury early Saturday for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol / Drugs.
Cynthia Belury, 45, of 101 Harwood Road in Waterbury, was arrested for DUI and Failure to Drive in Established Lane at approximately 3:50 a.m. Saturday.
According to police reports, State Police Troop ‘A’ in Southbury received a 911 call reporting a vehicle being driven erratically on I-84 East. The vehicle was later stopped for a motor vehicle violation near the Exit 17 off ramp in Middlebury. Belury was asked to perform a standardized field sobriety test, which she failed.
Belury was released on a $500 non-surety bond and scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court May 18.
