Student From Middlebury Named National Merit Semifinalist

MIDDLEBURY, CT — Officials from the National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC) have announced the names of approximately 16,000 semifinalists in the 67th annual National Merit Scholarship Program. Included is a student from Middlebury.

These academically talented high school seniors have an opportunity to continue in the competition for some 7,500 National Merit Scholarships worth nearly $30 million that will be offered next spring.

The student from Middlebury is Tate Dunbar from Westover School.
